Mahela Jayawardene is likely to continue as Mumbai Indians head coach for IPL 2027, with the franchise preferring continuity despite a disappointing 2026 season. While Hardik Pandya's future remains a major talking point, MI are keen to retain him as a player, with Tilak Varma emerging as the frontrunner to take over the captaincy armband.
