     Malice je najnoviji u nizu novih projektila zrak-zrak koje razvija američka mornarica. Prije njega pojavili su se AIM-174B Gunslinger, koji je prvi put operativno viđen u srpnju 2024., te AIM-260 JATM, koji je prvi put snimljen u letu u svibnju 2026.
