Students from Delhi University’s (DU) first four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP) batch will be able to move directly to PhD programmes without completing a master’s degree, provided they meet the required academic criteria. As a special measure for the 2026-27 academic session, DU will allow FYUP graduates with a minimum 7.5 CGPA to apply directly for PhD admissions, while the threshold for SC/ST students will be 7 CGPA.
