A Thomaston resident was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Portland, on Aug. 10, 2026, for assaulting a U.S. Border Patrol agent engaged in his official duties, according to a Maine District of the U.S. Attorney's Office news release. Chief U.S. District Judge Lance E. Walker sentenced Olivia Wilkins, 24, to nine months in prison. Wilkins pleaded guilty in March 2026.
