Abbie Lainton was a 16-year-old British cheerleader from Swindon who died after a boat accident during a family holiday in the Dominican Republic. She was known for cheerleading, dancing and her bright personality. Her siblings were also injured. Her family has received more than £22,000 through a fundraiser, while her former school and cheer team have paid tribute.
