Thousands of aspiring doctors and their families in Punjab will have to bear a significantly higher financial burden this academic session after a sharp revision in MBBS fee. Private medical colleges have recorded hikes of up to 17.4 per cent, while government medical colleges have increased fees by about 8.5 per cent over the full duration of the course.
