In a directive that could set a welcome precedent for inmates who can’t afford lawyers to plead their cases, a division bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court, in an Oct 6 order, directed DG (prisons), MP, to arrange free legal aid camps inside correctionals for inmates every two to four months.
