India’s internet subscriber base rose 12.76% to 1.09 billion in FY26, according to TRAI. Wireless data usage surged 24.74% to 2,85,376 petabytes, while average monthly consumption reached 25.51 GB per subscriber. Wireless ARPU increased to Rs 180.73 and telephone subscriptions reached 1.33 billion.
