A new study found fentanyl in 94% of used syringes collected at two locations in the Bulgarian city Bulgaria has recorded the highest rate of fentanyl detected in used syringes among the European countries participating in a new monitoring study, according to the first national survey carried out under the ESCAPE project of the European Union’s drugs agency.
