The Allahabad high court dismissed a family's land restoration plea filed after twenty-two years. The court found the family had not challenged dispossession within a reasonable time. Proceedings under the Urban Land Ceiling Act were completed in 1992. The family failed to prove possession when the Repeal Act came into force.
