A Penn Yan man has been charged with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide following an investigation into the June 2025 death of a toddler in the town of Potter, according to the Yates County Sheriff's Office. Deputies said they responded to a home on State Route 364 on June 25, 2025, after a toddler was found unresponsive and not breathing.
